Watch Out

LinkedIn Premium comes in multiple tiers — Career ($29.99/mo), Business ($59.99/mo), Sales Navigator ($99.99/mo), Recruiter Lite ($170/mo). Each is a separate subscription; if you hold more than one, cancel each individually.

LinkedIn's cancellation flow is intentionally long. Expect 4–6 screens with offers to pause your subscription, receive a discount, or switch plans. You must click through all of them to reach the final confirmation.

You must cancel at least one day before your next billing date to avoid being charged for another cycle. LinkedIn does not send advance renewal reminders.

Annual plan subscribers pay $239.88 upfront (~$19.99/month). There is no prorated refund for unused months — you pay for the full year.

InMail credits expire at the end of your billing period and are not refunded upon cancellation.

If you cancel a promotional or discounted plan and later resubscribe, you lose the discounted rate permanently and are charged the full current price.

The free trial auto-converts to a paid subscription. Cancel at least one day before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.

If your subscription was purchased via the LinkedIn iOS app, all refunds must be handled through Apple — LinkedIn cannot issue them directly.

LinkedIn occasionally emails a discount offer (e.g., 50% off) a day or two after you initiate cancellation — worth checking your inbox before paying full price again.

Removing your payment method does NOT cancel Premium. Auto-renewal continues even if your card is deleted — you must explicitly cancel the subscription first.
