Steps to Cancel
- 1Go to hulu.com and sign in
- 2Click your profile icon in the top right corner
- 3Select Account from the dropdown menu
- 4Scroll down to the Cancel Your Subscription section and click Cancel
- 5Hulu will offer to pause your account — select Continue to Cancel
- 6Select a reason for canceling (any option works), then click Continue to Cancel
- 7Click Cancel Subscription to confirm

Watch Out
Hulu aggressively pushes account pausing as an alternative to canceling. Pausing is NOT canceling — your subscription will resume automatically after the pause period.
iOS subscribers billed through Apple must cancel via iPhone Settings, not the Hulu website. Canceling on hulu.com won't stop Apple charges.
If you subscribed through a third party (Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, or a bundle like Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+), you must cancel through that provider instead.
The cancel button is buried at the bottom of the Account page — you'll need to scroll past billing details and plan information to find it.
No refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you've already paid for the full month.
Hulu's annual plan cannot be switched to monthly mid-term. Canceling an annual plan still runs to the end of the year — no prorated refund.
