Steps to Cancel
- 1Go to audible.com and sign in with your Amazon account
- 2Click your name or Account Details in the top right
- 3On the Account Details page, find the Cancel your membership link (it may be at the bottom of the page or under a View membership details section)
- 4Audible will present retention offers (pausing, discounted rates) — click Continue to cancel if you want to proceed
- 5Select a reason for canceling
- 6Click Cancel Membership to confirm

You CANNOT cancel Audible through the Audible mobile app on iOS or Android — you must use a web browser or the desktop site.
Audible aggressively pushes retention offers: pausing for 1-3 months, discounted rates ($7.95/mo for 3 months), or a free credit. You must decline these to actually cancel.
Unused credits are permanently forfeited when you cancel. Use all your credits before canceling.
Free trial includes 1-2 free audiobooks — these are yours to keep even after canceling, but the trial auto-converts to $14.95/month if not canceled.
Audible Plus ($7.95/mo) and Audible Premium Plus ($14.95/mo) are different plans — Premium Plus includes monthly credits, Plus does not.
