Quick Facts
Watch Out
Uninstalling an app does NOT cancel your Play Pass subscription — you must explicitly cancel through Google Play settings or the web.
Google Play Pass is Android-only. There is no iOS, desktop, or web app for the games — and you can only manage the subscription from Android or the web.
After canceling, in-app purchases you unlocked through Play Pass are removed. If you want to keep them, you'll need to buy them individually before canceling.
Family plan members (up to 5) all lose access when the family manager cancels. Only the family manager can cancel.
Free trials auto-convert to paid at $4.99/month. Google sends a notification before charging, but it's easy to miss.
What Happens After You Cancel
Access
You keep full access to Play Pass apps and games until the end of your current billing period.
Your data
Apps and their data remain on your device. However, paid app features revert — in-app purchases are removed, ads reappear, and paid apps prompt you to purchase or resubscribe.
