- 3Click Cancel Membership
- 4A new browser page opens — click Cancel Membership again to confirm

EA Play memberships are non-refundable — canceling stops future billing but you won't get money back for the current period.
Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed. If you joined through Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, or Epic, you must cancel through that platform — not through EA's website.
EA Play is included in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If you have Game Pass Ultimate, you don't have a separate EA Play billing — canceling Game Pass Ultimate removes EA Play access too.
The 10-hour trial feature for new releases only counts playtime while the trial is active. If your membership expires mid-trial, remaining hours are lost.
After canceling, EA Play games may still appear in your library (EA app, Steam, etc.) but they'll be locked. You may need to manually uninstall them.
What Happens After You Cancel
Access
You keep access to EA Play games and benefits until the end of your current billing period. After that, all EA Play games in your library become locked.
Your data
Game save data is preserved on your local device and in cloud saves (where supported). Games remain installed but are unplayable without an active membership.
