Steps to Cancel
- 1Go to claude.ai and sign in to your account
- 2Click your initials or name in the lower-left corner
- 3Select Settings from the menu
- 4Navigate to Settings > Billing
- 5Click the Cancel button
- 6Confirm your cancellation

Watch Out
If you subscribed via the App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through that platform — claude.ai Billing page won't show the cancel option.
Anthropic also offers Claude Max ($100/month) and Team ($30/user/month) plans. Make sure you're canceling the right one.
Annual Team plans continue until the end of the term even after cancellation.
Removing the app from your device does NOT cancel the subscription.
What Happens After You Cancel
Access
You keep Pro features until the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to the free tier.
Your data
All conversations and Projects remain accessible on the free tier. You lose access to higher usage limits and priority access to new models.
